Weird Pixel gets Philanthropic with Project Pitogo
After producing the feature documentary, Gwapa (Beautiful), we became enchanted with the spirit of Pitogo Island, a tiny remote island off the coast of Bohol, and created lasting friendships with the families there. Pitogo Island is very remote and getting necessary supplies is challenging. Many children eat only rice and don’t have shoes or pants to wear to school. Gwapa Film: Irene Update
We're just tickled to get this update about Irene. She's healed better than we'd ever imaged after her surgery in 2012! Her mother, Lucy, takes her on walks now and even to the public market. We're so happy for Irene and her family. We can't wait to share her incredible story! // Thanks again to Charina and Lemuel Asunto for the photo! #gwapafilm #philippines #cleftpalaterepair #healing #goodnews #family #filipino

We have PICTURE LOCK on Gwapa Film!
It's been a long and crazy ride since we first started production back in 2011. There were a lot of bumps and bruises along the way, but they were all worth it! It takes serious dedication to finish a no budget film like this, one where everyone has so kindly donated their time to this cause. We're honored to have so much support from our friends!
Big thanks to Faces of Tomorrow, Sine Motif Productions, Hot Pixel Post Production, Tia Carrere,Igloo music Studios, Michelle M

Pitogo Island Update After Typhoon Haiyan!
There's just no way to explain the amount of joy this photo brings us. Even after one of the worst typhoons in Filipino history, the Bulabos family is safe, healthy, and still smiling. And fortunately, all the kids have healed well from their surgeries. They truly are an amazing family and we are in awe of their courage everything.
Thanks to our pal, Charina Torregosa-asunto for making this priceless photo a reality. Look out for more photos coming soon! Photo by: Lemuel A
